FAQ

Does this generator follow APA 7th edition?

Formats follow APA 7th edition for journal articles, books, web pages and theses. For Chinese sources, schools differ on whether book and journal titles are bold or italic; you can switch it above.

Does it fix English title capitalization automatically?

No. APA capitalizes only the first word and proper nouns in an article title, and every major word in a journal name. Please type them that way.

Can I paste the result straight into Word?

Yes. PressCopy and paste into Word or Google Docs; bold and italics are kept. Remember to set the reference paragraphs to a 0.5-inch hanging indent.

Is my data uploaded?

No. Everything is formatted in your browser; what you type is never sent to a server.
